Members, prospective members, and stakeholders convened to review key developments from recent months and collaboratively shape the Cluster\u2019s Strategic Roadmap.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-roadmap-co-created-with-the-community\" class=\"font-semibold leading-tight text-pretty mb-2 mt-4 &#091;&#091;data-has-inline-images&#093;_&amp;&#093;:clear-end text-base first:mt-0\">A Roadmap Co-Created with the Community<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">The event built on the momentum generated in July, transitioning into a more operational phase. Findings from the initial scientific coordination among research groups across member universities provide the foundation upon which the Cluster is structuring its Strategic Roadmap. Through this roadmap, Lombardy\u2019s cosmetics sector will establish a shared vision for research and innovation, structured around the Cluster\u2019s three strategic pillars:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"marker:text-secondary list-disc pl-8\">\n<li class=\"py-0 my-0 prose-p:pt-0 prose-p:mb-2 prose-p:my-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:pt-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:mb-2 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:my-0\">\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">Digitalisation of processes and supply chains<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-0 my-0 prose-p:pt-0 prose-p:mb-2 prose-p:my-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:pt-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:mb-2 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:my-0\">\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">Circular and traceable value chains<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"py-0 my-0 prose-p:pt-0 prose-p:mb-2 prose-p:my-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:pt-0 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:mb-2 &#091;&amp;&gt;p&#093;:my-0\">\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">Awareness of the sector&#8217;s industrial and societal value<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"from-research-to-collaborative-projects\" class=\"font-semibold leading-tight text-pretty mb-2 mt-4 &#091;&#091;data-has-inline-images&#093;_&amp;&#093;:clear-end text-base first:mt-0\">From Research to Collaborative Projects<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">A central theme of the meeting was translating ideas into concrete projects. The Cluster outlined progress on collaborative proposals developed in synergy with its members, alongside key regional and European funding opportunities. The overarching message remains clear: the complementarity between industry and academia becomes a decisive competitive advantage when channelled into joint partnerships and shared grant applications.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-european-dimension\" class=\"font-semibold leading-tight text-pretty mb-2 mt-4 &#091;&#091;data-has-inline-images&#093;_&amp;&#093;:clear-end text-base first:mt-0\">A European Dimension<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">Discussions also focused on the Cluster\u2019s positioning across Europe. Through the <strong>GO4Cosmetics<\/strong> network\u2014uniting 12 European regions with a strong cosmetics focus and celebrating its fifth anniversary this year\u2014Lombardy projects the voice of its industrial value chain and manufacturing excellence onto key European policy and innovation platforms.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"building-the-roadmap-together\" class=\"font-semibold leading-tight text-pretty mb-2 mt-4 &#091;&#091;data-has-inline-images&#093;_&amp;&#093;:clear-end text-base first:mt-0\">Building the Roadmap Together<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 &#091;&amp;+p&#093;:mt-4 &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:inline-block &#091;&amp;_strong:has(+br)&#093;:align-top\">The participatory workshop offered members an open floor to lead the dialogue. Participants reviewed ongoing progress, submitted strategic inputs for the roadmap, and tackled critical supply chain challenges, ranging from sustainability to process innovation.
